navoka

Navoka vs Cleo.

Cleo is an AI money coach over the bank you have, with a card for you. Navoka is an agent that pays.

The difference in one sentence.

Cleo's AI talks to you about your money and moves some of it into savings. Navoka's agent has money of its own to spend — on your instruction, inside your rules — and a card it can decline.

Side by side.

Where Cleo is the better choice.

If you're in the US, want an AI that reads your actual bank, tells you the truth about your spending with some personality, sweeps money into savings automatically, and can add a credit-builder card and a deposit account from partner banks — Cleo is a mature product doing exactly that, at scale, for free to start. Navoka doesn't read your other accounts and isn't a budgeting coach.

If you want the assistant to do the thing — pay the invoice, book the room, send the £450, run the contractor batch — rather than talk you through it, the assistant needs an account and a card of its own and rules it can't change. That's what Navoka is: the agent holds the account, you hold the limits. It works in euro, pounds and dollars.

Questions.

How is Navoka different from Cleo?
Cleo is an AI money coach over your existing bank, connected through Plaid, that budgets, nudges and automates savings — with a partner-bank card and deposit account for you. Navoka is an agent with a dedicated account, IBAN and card of its own that pays bills, shops, sends and pays people inside limits you set.
Doesn't Cleo have a card too?
Yes — the Cleo Card, issued by WebBank, is a card for you, and Cleo offers deposit banking through Thread Bank. The difference is who the card is for. Navoka issues cards to the agent, so the agent can pay with them inside your rules and Navoka can decline a charge on them.
Can Cleo pay my bills or send money for me?
Its site describes coaching, spending insights and automated savings transfers, not paying bills or shopping on your behalf. Cleo's AI moves money toward your goals; Navoka's agent pays third parties from its own account — invoices by SEPA, purchases by card, transfers on Faster Payments, SWIFT or stablecoin — with your approval above the threshold.
Is Navoka a budgeting app?
No. Navoka keeps the agent's books — every payment with the rule it ran under, who approved it and why — but it doesn't categorize your other spending or coach you. If you want insights over the bank you already have, Cleo does that well. If you want an agent that pays, that's Navoka.
Does Navoka work outside the US?
Yes. Navoka's account works in euro, pounds and dollars, with ACH, SEPA, Faster Payments, SWIFT and stablecoin rails. Cleo's card requires a valid SSN, birthdate and address, its banking is through US partner banks, and its site is presented for the United States only.

Give your agent something to pay with.
